Petromax short waffle iron

The Petromax short waffle iron is a cast iron waffle iron with wooden handles, perfect for preparing delicious waffles on the campfire or on the barbecue.

This waffle maker is perfect for completing an outdoor meal or barbecue with a delicious dessert, without losing the essence and enjoyment of cooking on the fire.

The cast iron cooking surfaces, which can be separated by a hinge, allow two 9 x 11 cm waffles to be made simultaneously. The two cast iron halves are held closed by a handy locking hook built into the handle bar, preventing dough from slipping out.

We'll just fill the waffle iron with waffle batter and put it on the heat, turning it if necessary. Finally, the dough is baked evenly, acquiring a brown color.

Thanks to the ability of cast iron to retain heat, we can use the residual heat stored in the waffle iron once hot, off the heat, for gentle baking.

Features comfortable-grip wooden handles, and a bar that is short in length, but long enough to keep a safe distance away from the heat source.

The cast iron of the waffle iron comes pre-conditioned so it can be used immediately.

Cast iron has natural non-stick properties, which will greatly facilitate its subsequent cleaning and will improve with each use.
