Petromax iron plate for short sandwich

The Petromax iron short sandwich griddle is a sandwich maker with cast iron molds and wooden handles, perfect for making hot sandwiches, toasts or bagels on the campfire or on the barbecue.

Thanks to the ability of cast iron in the sandwich maker pans to retain heat, the bread is crispy toasted, while the filling remains juicy. In addition, the residual heat stored in the sandwich maker can be used once hot, off the heat, for softer baking.

The size of the cast iron pans, which can be separated by a hinge, is perfect for sandwiches of 11 x 11 cm. The molds are kept closed thanks to a practical locking hook incorporated into the handle bar, which ensures that no food falls out.

Features comfortable-grip wooden handles, and a bar that is short in length, but long enough to keep a safe distance away from the heat source.

The iron of the sandwich maker comes pre-conditioned so it can be used immediately.

Cast iron has natural non-stick properties, which will greatly facilitate its subsequent cleaning and will improve with each use.
