Kit Climbing Technology Clip Up Plus is an innovative belayer that allows manual braking, it is an evolution of the Click Up model. It is specifically designed for indoor and rock climbing, in addition, it can be used with all dynamic single ropes in the range of 8.5 to 11 mm in diameter.

On the other hand, it is a light and compact product that allows the climber to be secured and allows him to manipulate the rope with both hands.

This new model is more efficient in unwinding the rope, thus allowing a quick and fluid process thanks to its new geometry and the new carabiner fastening arrangement. Additionally, it is more comfortable for top rope belaying, especially when used with indoor climbing ropes, thanks to the new design of the side plates.

On the other hand, it is even safer since it has the V-Proof system that reduces the possibility of error due to incorrect handling of the rope during braking. In turn, this new design is more ergonomic, thanks to the new shape of the outer body.

Like the previous model, this new design also allows the climber to stop a fall by simply holding the free end of the rope with the hand, it also allows the partner to be lowered by applying light pressure on the device, keeping the free end taut. of the rope with the braking hand. In addition, it guarantees effective securing even if the rope is incorrectly installed in the device thanks to V-shaped friction notches.

The V-Proof system reduces the possibility of error due to incorrect reduction of the V angle between the two rope strands. It consists of a mobile partition that facilitates the activation of the assisted braking system. If during the climber's fall the hand side of the rope comes into contact with the septum, this pressure contributes to the rotation of the device and the subsequent blocking of the rope.

This product should be used together with the HMS Concept SGL HC carabiner, as it has wear-resistant anodizing and an ACL system that prevents the possibility of cross loading on minor axes.
