The Deuter Astro 500 L sleeping bag is a mummy-type down sleeping bag, which provides great warmth thanks to its trapezoidal chambers, which keep the padding in the proper position preventing cold bridges from forming.
It is a comfortable sleeping bag with a mummy-type cut, which has a great width in the area of the feet, adapting to the natural position of the feet.
The bag features 360-degree padding that provides great warmth and comfort, as the padding is distributed with the same volume and the same construction on both the top and bottom of the bag. In this way, the comfort temperature is ensured in any position inside the bag, without leaving certain cold areas, such as the back.
This sleeping bag is an obluesign® product, which guarantees fair and sustainable production, respectful of the environment, where the reduction of the impact on both people and the environment has been prioritized when manufacturing the product.
The down used is certified according to the Responsible Down Standard (RDS).
The animal welfare certificate implies the fulfillment of a series of conditions:

This Deuter sleeping bag does not use PFC substances. These substances are used to repel water to protect against rain, but they are harmful to the environment. Instead of PFC, this sleeping bag uses DWR (Durable Water Repellency) impregnation, which does not harm the environment.
It is made with 30 D polyamide Ripstop: A new feather-type microfiber lining fabric is used, which, being highly dense, makes it quite waterproof and breathable, preventing the down from collapsing due to humidity (both inside and abroad). The Ripstop gives it great resistance to abrasions. Manufactured to the exacting standards of Bluesign®.
