This Deuter sleeping bag does not use PFC substances. These substances are used to repel water to protect against rain, but they are harmful to the environment. Instead of PFC, this sleeping bag uses DWR (Durable Water Repellency) impregnation, which does not harm the environment.
It is made of polyamide 70 D Ripstop, a very resistant, lightweight and waterproof polyamide fabric, which does not contain PFC, that is, perfluorinated or polychlorinated chemicals.
