The Deuter Orbit SQ + 5º sleeping bag is a soft and comfortable sleeping bag, rectangular in shape, which offers ample space to move comfortably inside. It is perfect to sleep on your camping trips throughout the year. It is a very versatile bag, which with its two zippers can be used open as a quilt or closed, and by attaching another bag to turn it into a double bag. It features a pillow that can be removed with a zipper to wash it separately. The interior is made of a soft cotton blend fabric, and the exterior fabric is quiet.

 

+ 10º C Comfort:

-The comfort temperature: it is considered the lowest temperature in which a woman of average characteristics (25 years, 60 kg and 160 cm) can reach sleep in a comfortable and relaxed posture. It is also valid for people who have no experience.

+ 5º C Limit:

-The lower limit: it is considered the lowest temperature in which a man of average characteristics (25 years, 70 kg and 173 cm) can reach sleep in a comfortable and relaxed posture. An experienced person can improve insulation by wearing the right clothing, among other things.

      -8º C Extreme:

     - The extreme temperature is an estimate based on the survival of an adult woman of average characteristics. She can go without sleep for six hours. Even if you are not at risk of death from hypothermia, it can have other negative consequences, such as freezing a limb.

This Deuter sleeping bag does not use PFC substances. These substances are used to repel water to protect against rain, but they are harmful to the environment. Instead of PFC, this sleeping bag uses DWR (Durable Water Repellency) impregnation, which does not harm the environment.

- Deuter cotton and polyester hybrid fabric: The combination of 65/35 cotton with polyester (T / C, Trevira / cotton) results in a lighter fabric with less volume when stored than in the case of pure cotton. The result of the blend is a soft, quick-drying fabric with less moisture absorption.

 

- High compression hollow fiber: A synthetic hollow fiber treatment is carried out with which fleece lining is produced (thermal adhesion). To achieve good compression, silicone is applied. It offers good insulation and great durability and tear resistance.

- 40 D polyamide ripstop: The Orbit and Space sleeping bag models have a soft and lightweight outer shell. This Ripstop fabric is waterproof. The Hextile version, which has an even lower weight, serves as the coating for the Dream Lite.
