The Deuter Trail 16 SL backpack is a lightweight backpack, ideal for hiking, although it is also perfect for via ferrata, thanks to its additional details, such as the carabiner hooks on the shoulder straps, which allow them to be kept at the same time. within reach.

This backpack in SL (Slim Line) version is specially designed to adapt to the female anatomy. For this reason, it has a shorter back, narrower straps with an accentuated S shape, and a conical lumbar belt that adapts to a woman's hips.

It has Deuter's Airstripe back system, which guarantees optimal air circulation thanks to the large ventilation channels and the reduced contact surface with the back, which helps keep the back dry. This is enhanced by the ergonomic shoulder straps and perforated hip fins. Additionally, it helps distribute weight evenly. allowing the load to fit comfortably and securely to the body. This compact fit of the backpack is very important for safety on via ferratas.

The top cover of the backpack has a flat shape, which provides comfortable freedom of movement of the head, despite wearing the helmet.

The backpack has a large front opening with a zipper, which allows easy access to all the contents of the backpack.

Side pockets also keep items within reach.

The Deuter Trail 16 SL backpack does not use PFAS substances (perfluorinated and polyfluorinated chemicals). These substances serve to repel water as protection against rain, but they are harmful to the environment. Instead of PFAS, Deuter has been using DWR (Durable Water Repellency) impregnation since 2019, which does not harm the environment.
