Deuter Futura Pro 42 EL Backpack

The Deuter Futura Pro 42 EL backpack is a comfortable, functional and extra-long (EL) backpack, designed especially for very tall people (with a height greater than 185 cm), perfect for hiking, long excursions or of several days.

The back area has the ergonomic Aircomfort Sensic Pro system, a great ventilation system thanks to a new mesh, that provides a space between the backpack and the back that promote ventilation and moisture evaporation.

In addition, comfort is accentuated thanks to the movable VariFlex ECL hip fins and the Active-Fit shoulder straps, which adjust comfortably, ensuring comfortable, flexible and energy-saving carrying.

The backpack offers multiple storage options to keep all your luggage perfectly organized. Therefore, in addition to the spacious main compartment, the backpack features a lid compartment, side pockets, hip flap pockets, and a separate lower compartment. This separate lower compartment connects internally to the main compartment of the backpack via an intermediate zipper.

The Deuter Futura Pro 42 EL backpack does not use PFAS substances (perfluorinated and polyfluorinated chemicals). These substances serve to repel water as protection against rain, but they are harmful to the environment. Instead of PFAS, Deuter has been using DWR (Durable Water Repellency) impregnation since 2019, which does not harm the environment.

It is made with the following materials:

- 210D PA Recycled. 50% of the yarn comes from recycled material. The Futura series presents its main material with bluesign® certification.

- 600 D PES: Very robust polyester fabric, with polyurethane coating, which resists abrasions and tears.
