Carabiner Hector BC Thread Singing Rock

The Singing Rock Hector BC Thread carabiner is a large HMS-type carabiner, shaped like a pear, which is especially recommended for use in climbing and working at height. It is a very suitable carabiner to use as a fixed connector in anchoring systems or straps.

This carabiner has a holding bar on the inside, which allows the carabiner to acquire the correct position. In this way, it is possible to avoid the cross load, and it is ensured that the work is carried out with the main axis. This internal clamping bar can be removed from the carabiner using a number 3 Allen key.

It is made of light aluminum alloy, hot forging (Hot Forging), and features an I-shaped (beam-shaped) construction. All this gives the carabiner, resistance while lightness, in short, a higher quality. Its resistance is further reinforced, thanks to its anodized finish.

As it is pear-shaped, the upper part has a wide support area, which, in addition to supporting the rope, makes it slide better and reduces wear on the carabiner. This pear-shaped carabiner design makes it very suitable for securing with a dynamic knot or other securing methods.

It has a screw closure. This is highly recommended for use in extreme weather conditions or in alpine ascents, as it works optimally in extreme temperatures, does not freeze and does not become clogged with dirt. In short, it is a simple and safe closure, although you have to check that it is properly closed after each movement.

This carabiner has Keylock technology to prevent the rope from getting tangled in the carabiner, thus facilitating its handling and giving the system greater security.

To improve both traceability and inspection, Singing Rock's Hector BC Rosca carabiner has a unique serial number.

With the closure open, it presents a resistance of 8 KN.

With the carabiner closed, it supports a load resistance of 30 KN in the upper part and in the lower part, 9 KN.

The trigger opening is 26mm. This wide opening of the trigger makes it ideal to be used as a central carabiner in anchors.

The weight of this carabiner is 85 grams.
