The Deuter Orbit + 5º L sleeping bag is a mummy-type bag designed for use in summer. It is resistant, filled with synthetic fiber, which retains heat well and is easy to maintain. It is an ideal bag, which has a series of details that will make your breaks more comfortable, such as the protection mechanism of the zipper to prevent it from getting stuck, an inside pocket to store valuables or the upper part of the bag to hood mode.
The zipper has a bidirectional operation, with the advantage of being able to open only the lower part of the bag to keep the foot area ventilated. It also has an automatic locking system to prevent the bag from opening spontaneously.
The lower area of the bag is wide to adapt to the natural position of the feet, which facilitates freedom of movement and comfort at bedtime.
The upper area of the jacket ends in a hood, which adjusts easily, even in the dark, thanks to its two laces that are easily differentiated to the touch, since one is flat and the other is round.
The exterior of the bag has no seams, thus preventing the filling from coming out when stored.
It is important to choose the shape and size of the sleeping bag well so that the heat performance is optimal, and you do not have to heat more air than necessary.

This Deuter sleeping bag does not use PFC substances. These substances are used to repel water to protect against rain, but they are harmful to the environment. Instead of PFC, this sleeping bag uses DWR (Durable Water Repellency) impregnation, which does not harm the environment.
It is made of the following materials:
- High compression hollow fiber: A synthetic hollow fiber treatment is carried out with which fleece lining is produced (thermal adhesion). To achieve good compression, silicone is applied. It offers good insulation and great durability and tear resistance.
- 40 D polyamide ripstop: The Orbit and Space sleeping bag models have a soft and lightweight outer shell. This Ripstop fabric is waterproof. The Hextile version, which has an even lower weight, serves as the coating for the Dream Lite.
