Sea to Summit Ether Light XT Extreme Mat

The Sea to Summit Ether Light XT Extreme Mat is an extra thick, very light and compact inflatable insulating mat, specially designed to withstand very cold climates. For this, it has a thickness of 10 cm, and a double density Thermolite® insulation system, which provides a high degree of insulation, with an R value of 6.2.

It is made of 40D/30D nylon fabric, which is light in weight, has good adherence and does not generate much noise, and extrusion TPU lamination.

Sea to Summit inflatable mattresses usually have the same construction based on an Air Sprung Cell™ system, that is, individual cells suspended by air. The Ether Light XT Extreme Mat, with the Extra Thick system, presents these very thick cells, offering a mat of great comfort and reduced weight, with a thickness of 10 cm. The Extra Thick (XT) system allows the formation of air pockets through numerous looped TPU deflectors, which hold the top and bottom layers of the mattress together with the Air Sprung Cell™ cell system.

To prevent the growth of mold inside the mat, the TPU formulation features an antimicrobial Ultra-Fresh® treatment.

The mattress is equipped with the practical Pillow Lock™ system, which makes resting more comfortable, since it allows any Sea to Summit Eros™ pillow to remain attached to the mattress without moving.

It features a high-flow multifunction valve, which facilitates the actions of inflating and deflating the mattress, as well as the regulation of the appropriate pressure. The valve prevents air from escaping while the mattress is being inflated.

The mat comes equipped with a cover, which also doubles as an inflator. You just have to blow the cover to fill it with air, roll up its upper part and connect the cover to the mat through its valve, which is at the bottom of the cover. Then, squeeze the cover so that the mat fills with air. After repeating this process two or three times, the mat is ready to use.
