The Spark is an ultralight bag with many possible uses. Its balance of size, weight and warmth make it an excellent summer sleeping bag, especially for those who care about weight and space, cyclists and ultralight sprinters. It also works well as an inner bag, sliding inside another sleeping bag to add one or two stations to your classification.

The Spark compressed so small that we had to redesign our compression sacks to make one that was reduced enough. The ULTRA-DRY Down ™ protection makes the Spark an impressive sleeping bag for alpine or adventure racing, where the pen has never been a viable option before, and the weight is simply not tolerated.

The secrets of Spark's warmth and weight are found in the superior quality of the pen, the YKK® # 3 medium-gauge lightweight zipper and the high-performance microweight lining and lining fabrics. The Spark is designed as a fitted mummy bag. The hood, the foot box and the short zip closure maximize fit and warmth, while keeping weight and volume to a minimum.
