Consigue hervir el agua en pocos minutos (hervir de verdad, no calentar). Prende muy fácilmente y permite apagarlo, conservando el sobrante que no necesites. No desprende el olor desagradable de las tabletas.

El producto es bueno, si bien el formato no compensa. Cada caja tiene una duración aproximada de 8 miutos, lo justos aprox. para hervir un litro de agua, con lo cual no puede tomarse, por pseo, volumen y precio, como una opción de combustible. Sí­ viene muy bien como iniciador para caja de fuego.
