Petromax stackable cast iron trivet with legs

Made of cast iron, placed inside Dutch ovens, it allows perfect heat distribution when cooking in Dutch ovens over low heat, preventing food from burning or sticking on the bottom. In addition, thanks to the separation offered by its legs, it allows simultaneous cooking at different levels. Trivets of the same or different sizes can be stacked.

It can be used immediately thanks to its pre-conditioning and is the perfect complement to baking, stewing, braising and steaming in a Dutch oven.

Two trivets can be stacked inside the Dutch oven for steaming, it can also be used as a grill directly over the fire, leaving perfect grill marks on meat and vegetables. Or place a coffee pot, percolator or teapot on it or use for cooking with a legless Dutch oven.

Another excellent use is as a trivet, providing stability while protecting the table from the heat of pots or pans.

It is available in two different diameter sizes: 23 and 30 cm.
