Edge Singing Rock Ice Ax Hammer

The Singing Rock Piolet Edge hammer is one of the two versions in which we can find this versatile mountaineering tool. The other version would be the shovel.

It is a light ice ax, to be used in technical mountaineering. Its effectiveness combines the advantages of both a traditional ice ax and an advanced technical tool. It features both a curved handle, with plenty of room, and a narrow ragaton, for easy driving into the snow. It is very practical to use for corridor climbs, simple glacier progressions, or traditional alpine activities.

It has a modular head, made of hot forged aluminum. Its shape makes it easy to catch in crevices and provides support when climbing in soft snow.

The head has a hole, which allows you to hook the ice ax to a carabiner, or to incorporate a strap so that it does not get lost.

This Singing Rock Edge ice ax is presented in the hammer version, which is made of chromed steel, although it is possible to use it with the shovel, or even eliminate these two accessories, to obtain a lighter ice ax. It is also possible to exchange the sheet, depending on the type of activity to be carried out. All this is possible thanks to the modular design of the ice ax head.

The blade is made of chromed steel and works optimally both on hard ice and in moderate mixed climbing. In addition, it has a soft grip area, to prevent the gloves from being damaged when holding the ice ax by the head.

The handle is made of hot-forged aluminum , and has a suitable curvature, which allows it to be easily anchored to ice or rock.

The spike is made of chromed steel, and its hole allows a carabiner or a Bungee bifid leash to be attached to prevent it from getting lost. The narrow shape of the spike allows it to easily dig into the snow.

This Singing Rock Edge ice-ax hammer incorporates a Fix Plus strap, adjustable in length, to prevent it from being lost.
